The year 2017 has been one of the greatest and hardest for our family. We adopted two of our children on thanksgiving week this year. We also had one of our kiddos return to their family earlier this year. And just with those two things alone our world has been turned upside down and back again. We feel beyond blessed with the family God has given us! We are so thankful for the many friends and family who have not only stood beside us during the last year, but have also cried with us. We are praying that this new year will bring our family many more moments to grow and learn to love each other greater!! So from the Hartwell’s to your family Merry Christmas!!

So glad you are here!! I’m Myranda and will probably be the one who post all our adventures here. Unless I can get my husband Doug too!! We are living in the great state of Indiana on a little piece of farm land nestled off of the beaten path.

We are foster parents who truly desire to adopt! We have been beyond blessed in this journey so far. We have been blessed to have eight kiddos live with us in the past two years. Never in our wildest dreams did we think our life would look like this!

We hope that our journey will be a source of encouragement and humor for the rough days of life!!
